Pathways to Knowledge and Understanding(c)

T.R.A.I.L.S.(c) - Teaching, Restoration & Archiving of International/Indigenous Languages Software, was developed to provide a uniform or standardized Computer System for teaching, learning and archiving the word's languages.

T.R.A.I.L.S. is a "CUSTOMIZABLE, INTERACTIVE, MULTI-MEDIA LANGUAGE EDUCATION PROGRAM", with the ability to house as many languages as the hardware is capable of storing. This makes it possible to store all of the languages in the world on one computer, if the hardware can handle the load. There are no file or field limitations, and the software has the capacity to handle 18,000, Terabytes of data per file. (Based on operating system and hardware limitations)

T.R.A.I.L.S. can be configured to use a "Secondary Search Language", such as Chinese, French, Spanish or Russian, etc. (To be supplied by the Client).

T.R.A.I.L.S. is fully capable of interfacing with all of the major database products in the world. It can be installed as a "Stand-alone PC" or on a "network" operating under MS Server, Novell, Unix or  Linux Server, etc. There is no limitation to the number of Work Stations that can be connected to the Network, however, an Access Node is required for each terminal. An optional Internet Services Module is available.

NOTE: Any current programs you are running under Windows Protocol can be imported and run directly from T.R.A.I.L.S. (PDF, OLE, Power Point, etc.)

"Word" or "Phrase" searches can be made using the Prime Language, or a Secondary Language. Searches produce the compatible "Word" or "Phrase" you seek, and "Human Voice Pronunciation" (Spoken by a qualified person). Photos, Illustrations, or Videos can also be displayed. Full Digital Video Capability is included.

Handicapped individuals such as the Blind, Deaf, etc, can now learn a foreign language. The program can also be utilized to teach "Sign Language". (NOTE: Sign Language Videos must be provided by the Client)

T.R.A.I.L.S. can be used to archive multiple dialect and multiple languages on the same site, or as a master site to access languages stored on various sites at one or many locations. Direct support for T.R.A.I.L.S. is available. In many cases, local support may be provided through  our world-wide network of Developers.
