MULTIPLE LANGUAGE EXAMPLE

T.R.A.I.L.S. can be used to teach and preserve multiple languages. This is an example of Sioux Dialects, By allowing students to view multiple dialects, both students and linguists are able to see both the similarities and differences of the various languages.

Not only can you study the dialects of a specific peoples, but you can also include the comparison of different peoples. You could compare, for example, Lakota, Apache, Cheyenne and Arapaho.

You are not limited to three or four languages.  You can compare up to ten or more.  If you wanted more languages than would fit on a screen, you can break them up into various screens and menus.

Our support team would help you in this endeavor.

Each language may have it's own menu for study purposes.

This allows students to only study one language for learning purposes. Students are classified as to what they are allowed to study and are assigned level of expertise. As students advance in their abilities, they  can be permitted to view more complex vocabulary

Teachers are the ones who evaluate the capabilities of each student. They can advance pupils at any time. This insures that students  will not become bored with their studies and can look forward to new insight and challenges as they progress.

This is a screen example comparing the Lakota word for Lake with the words for Dakota and Nakota..

As you can see, they are extremely similar, with the exception of the first letter of the word.

Linguists may find this useful in their studies of languages and their origin, Students who enjoy the study of languages may also find this interesting and informative.

You can see the adaptability of T.R.A.I.L.S. and how this program might be able to assist you in the teaching of multiple languages.

Please allow us to assist you in your teaching and studies of multiple languages.
