T.R.A.I.L.S. is a "Customizable, Interactive Multi-Media Language Education Program".

This means installation sites may control not only the information included in the files, but can add fields, modify field lengths, fully control and design unlimited reports and searches, modify and add user types and capabilities, and assign various rights to all types of users and files.

Administrators are also able to customize what menu items are available to various user groups, and users can be added or removed from groups as their skills advance. No Student can modify any part of the program, and only those users with proper access and/or passwords can do any type of entry or modification.
